摘要：Le village de Rancalame est un creuset de l’initiation rituelle penca à Banten. Le penca comprend un ensemble de techniques de combat et de pratiques de protection et il concerne la communauté villageoise dans son ensemble. L’initiation s’effectue par le biais des fils du fondateur de l’école de penca : l’aîné garantissant l’autorité au niveau local, son cadet ayant la charge des relations aux institutions politiques et aux ramifications de l’école de penca. Cette régulation des relations entre l’intérieur et l’extérieur de la communauté de pratique du penca et, plus largement, du village, a ainsi un caractère dynamique bidimensionnel. D’une part, l’initiation opère une distinction de rang et de statut entre les habitants du village. D’autre part, celle-ci a moins pour but l’affirmation du prestige et la reproduction de groupes sociaux concurrents que le renouvellement de la société.
其他摘要：The village of Rancalame is an important place for the ritual initiation penca in Banten. Penca comprises a combination of fighting techniques and protection practices and concerns the whole village’s community. The initiation is carried out by the sons of the penca school’s founder : the oldest warrantees the authority at the local level ; the youngest is in charge of the relationships with the political institutions and the penca school’s branches. This regulation of relationships between the interior and the exterior of the penca practice community, and widely of the village, has in this way a dynamical two-dimensional characteristic. On one hand, the initiation operates a distinction of rank and status between the inhabitants of the village. On the other hand, its purpose is rather to renew the society than to maintain the prestige and the reproduction of rival social groups.
