摘要：Decline in cognitive control is one of the most characteristic signs of cognitive aging. Cognitive training can be used to prevent and ameliorate cognitive control decline in old age. Recent advances in the study of elementary control functions are the basis for the development of effective cognitive training programs. In this article, examples of training elementary control functions are reviewed and conclusions are drawn about their potential as a means of ameliorating age-related cognitive decline.
