摘要:Using Virtual Reality (VR) technique we investigated distortions of visual perception arising from violations of “eye-head-body” system. Violations were created by changing the location of “virtual” eyes relative to head and body of the subject. To do this images of surrounding scenes were transmitted to HMD displays using Web camera, which was localized relative to the head of the subject. In the first and second experimental series, Webcam was attached, respectively, over the head or on the knee of the subject, and in the third control series - at the level of his eyes. The results showed that different types of localization of ‘’virtual” eyes affected the functioning of “eye-head-body” system in different ways. The perception was significantly distorted only for the second type of violations when there was a mismatch between “virtual” eyes and “head-body” systems.
