摘要:The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of socio-cultural conditions on mental development in children of North Krasnoyarsk region native and nonnative population. Cognitive activity development was studied in junior school children. Comparative experimental-clinical method was used. Hierarchy of factors influencing children's cognitive development was specified. Delays in development tempo of cognitive activity were noted in every participant, living in socio-cultural deprivation, but children of North indigenous minorities have it more stable. During elementary school these children with normal IQ can not use verbal tools as central while solving cognitive tasks. Possible causes for this can be shortcomings of children's speech development that arises from specifics of child-parent interaction on the early stages of ontogenesis and non-optimal situation of speech development (non-balanced bilingualism), as well as specifics of parents' attitudes towards after school perspectives of child's socialization.
