摘要：The contribution studies the influence of smells on the state of internal (concealed) aggression depending on the temperament structures. At the moment there are few researches on this subject, although the relation between fragrant substances and emotions is known for a fairly long time. The contribution is based on the research which was carried out in the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, and which was aimed at identification of interrelations between preferred/undesired smells and different temperament structures. It makes emphasis on the existence of differences between immediate reaction to a new (unknown) smell and reaction to the smell which is related to specific positive or negative experiences. It also examines the gender differences in regard to preferred and negative smells as well as general laws. As a result of analysis the authors identified factors which influence the choise of desired and undesired smells as well as factors which influence immediate reaction to perception of new (unknown or little-known) fragrances.
