摘要：The article presents the results of using the Questionnaire social desirability BIDR (Paulhus, 1988) in the adaptation of E. N. Osin (2007) while studying the subjective assessments of 140 males with mental disorders. Additionally all patients were interviewed by check-list “Attitudes to the aspects of the compulsory treatment” (Bulygina V.G., Kabanova T.N., 2011), self-report about the existing problems in social functioning and Symptom Checklist (SCL-90-R, Derogatis, 1986). There were analyzed the associations between the profile of the motivation social desirable with clinical and social variables, characteristics of behavior in the forensic hospital, subjective assessments of problems in social functioning and various aspects of compulsory treatment and psychopathological symptoms. It is revealed that the motivational profile determines the amount of the claimed problems in social functioning, perception of disease severity and subjective likelihood of re social dangerous acts, the specificity of representative behavior in relation to medical personnel, evaluation of treatment success.
