摘要:Authors studied the connections between individual and social competence, personality factors and cognitive abilities of preschool children with typical development, attending kindergarten (N = 54; age 73, 4 6 months, 31 boys and 23 girls). The following method have been used: "Preschool children's educational competence scale», M5-PS, computer cognitive tests. K-means clustering of cases and Mann-Whitney U Test were used. Revealed that children with a high level of individual social competence development were more open to experience minded (p <0,0001), agreeable (p <0,05), conscientious (p <0,01), with higher level of Extraversion (0,001) and also more successful with the cognitive tests for stimulus sequences understanding (p <0,05), logical multiplication usage (p <0,05), emotional expression and situations of social interaction recognition (p <0,05 and p < 0,01). The obtained results may indicate the possible involvement of both personality and cognitive factors in the formation of individual and social competences.
