摘要:The focus of presented article was to determine presence and to describe the character of interrelation of Machiavellianism and the sociometric status in adolescence. The research was carried out during two years on 44 sixth graders, 51 seventh graders, 51 eighth graders and 59 ninth graders. To study sociometric status authors used sociometry method and level of Machiavellianism was assessed by Machiavellianism scale Mach-IV by R. Christy and F. Geis. The results show that among young adolescents the level of Machiavellianism is lower for high-status adolescents than adolescents of other status groups. Older adolescent groups didn't show such pattern. Besides, the findings suggested that level of Machiavellianism grows when status of the child lowers in case a group where adolescent loses sociometric atoms is referential to him.
