摘要：The article presents a model explaining connection between personal capabilities and prosperity of a country. For that, the authors suggest considering economic development as fulfilling tasks by people. At that, prosperity depends on how the educational system allows developing capacities into competences, and economy allows developing competences into economic achievements. The model is formalized and used to assess economic outcome of implementing gifted youth support programs.
