摘要：Scientific-methodological seminar “Spiritual and moral self-consciousness and the notion of the ideal in the patristic tradition and scientific psychology” (convened by Full Member of RAE, Professor V.V. Rubtsov and Archbishop Ignatius of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka) was held on May 27, 2010 in Psychological Institute of RAE, Moscow. The organizers of this scientific event were the Psychological Institute of RAE, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education and Scientific Archives of the Psychological Institute. The seminar was attended by staff and faculty of the leading scientific and psychological centers of Moscow. The subject of discussion was the category of morality and moral ideal in the patristic heritage and scientific psychology, methodological approaches to the study of moral consciousness and research methods of ideals in the modern high-school students. As a result of the discussion the main features of the general problem field were identified, which allow to move forward in the scientific research and to integrate the basis of patristic tradition and the best traditions of the domestic psychology; the methodological approaches of regional studies on the concept of the ideal among youth and adolescents were specified.
