摘要:The article presents the work of the Saint-Petersburg Early Intervention Institute, based on the foreign and domestic development concepts: child psychoanalysis (R. Spitz), attachment theory (J. Bowlby, M. Ainsworth, P. Crittenden), a systematic approach to the study of mental development in early childhood (D. Stern), the concept of the genesis of the communication of a child with an adult (M. I. Lisina and her colleagues), the concept of early socialization (F. Dolto), psychological and educational experience in upbringing children devoid of guardianship, in the " Loci Orphanage" (E. Pikler). The article reveals the specifics of various programs for assistance families with functional disabled children: team working principles, multidisciplinary approach, parents involving, home visits, and effectiveness evaluation of working with a child and family. As a single program for early intervention the project "The Way Home" is regarded. It was developed together with the Saint-Petersburg Institute for Early Intervention and charitable trust EveryChild (UK), aiming to support families in crisis: to prevent newborn child refusal and to assist the child's returning into the family from an orphanage.
