摘要：The originality of the West European approach to research of the power and status relations phenomena in groups of different types is shown in the article. It is based on the ideas of H. Tajfel, J. Turner, D. Abrams, M. Hogg, as well as on the social identity theory and social categorization theory. Nowadays this approach takes the leading position in Western social psychology and is accepted by the most researchers that, undoubtedly, does its interesting, as to scientists and teachers of high schools. In researches of the western psychologists interrelations between the status, personal and behavior features are found out. Applied value of the given intellectual technology is especially allocated. The technique has an experience of an active use in Russia. In particular, it’s applied during the preparation of teaching materials on the innovative discipline of "Intragroup structuring in small groups: current approaches and concepts", a large part of this discipline is devoted to competent planning and conducting a complex research in a small group.
