摘要:The paper analyses traditional Russian round dance games from the psychological and social psychological perspective, outlining the possibilities of their application in the developmental work with preschool children with communication difficulties. Apart from the general descriptions of children’s round dance games, the paper evaluates such psychologically significant features as the structure of play space, rhythmicity, emotionality, and activity characteristics of those participating in the games, that is, behaviour control, picture of the world and self-consciousness, speech, imagination. It is especially important that this paper evaluates the potential use of the round dance games in the development of communicative skills both in normally developed children and in children with developmental disorders. Applying children’s folklore in the developmental work entirely corresponds with the systemic principle and proves Vygotsky’s idea of the unity of affect and intellect. Furthermore, round dance games can possibly become a highly perspective method of inclusion.
