摘要:“Is there anything the law librarycould do to help archive statelegislative history?”The director of the MississippiCollege Law Library and I were askedthis question over lunch one day in thesummer of 2011. Our lunch partner,and the person asking the question,was a state representative and MississippiCollege Law School alum. By the endof our meal, we had come up with theidea of the law library archiving video—though we were not sure exactlyhow—of the state house and senateas part of the library’s collection. Weexcitedly made our way back to the lawschool and pitched the concept to ourthen law school dean, who quicklybecame ecstatic over the prospect ofbeing the law school in Mississippi thatwould offer such an important service tothe legal community and the public
