摘要:Electromagnetic theory says that hertzian waves provide stronger penetrability into objects. Multispectrumilluminator can penetrate tissues at different depths and form images of both surface skin textures andhypodemia. This multi-spectrum sensor provides greater acquisition time and better quality images than any otherunimodal sensors. There are many biometric features available like hand, finger, iris, palm etc which are used forvarious authentication and identification purposes. These features can be captured using various technologies likeoptical, ultra sound, multispectral and many more. Among all multispectral images have proven for efficient results inboth recognition and identification systems. In this paper we will make a study of various multispectral biometricmodalities and their acquisition techniques
