摘要：The paper reviews the current trendsand practices of using digital holographic microscopywhich in recent years has been increasingly used invisualization of biological objects. Also, it is outlinedthe principle of holography is the breakdown of thelaser beam into two parts: one for reference and oneof the object and then recording them overlap.Using a digital holographic microscopy to generatethree dimensional representations of samples observedin a microscope provides several advantagesover confocal microscopy in terms of cost and speedof capture that could lend it usefulness in observingprocesses with timescales which are currently unableto be observed using other three dimensional techniques.
