摘要：This article describes digitization ofold Romanian texts, problems at their recognition,and motivates the necessity to create specifi c electronicresources mirroring the history of the standardRomanian language. We provide also statistics of resultsat recognizing a Romanian text of the 19th centuryby modern software, and we propose a technologyfor creation of linguistic lexicon for MoldavianCyrillic script of 1967–1989, starting from modern(standard) Romanian lexicon. This technology is basedon transliteration and parallel texts alignment
