  • 摘要:In recent years, an increasing use oftrace elements is due to their defi ciency into humanand animal body, caused by the action of variousexternal and internal risk factors. It is apparent thathidden trace element defi ciencies are far more widespreadthan is generally estimated.Selenium is one of the essential trace elementsfor human and animal body. Selenium has many medicaleffects, such as reducing cancer mortality, preventionof cardiovascular diseases, etc. The specifi cbiological activity of selenium depends on its chemicalforms, organic selenium being the form with thehighest bioactivity. Cyanobacterium Spirulina platensishas been consumed as a dietary supplement fora long time, and in recent years this microbiologicalobject is investigated as a matrix for the productionof organic compounds with Se, thus, representing apromising source for large scale production of organicselenium.It has been shown that strain Spirulina platensisCNMN-CB-11 accumulates selenium in its processof growth and development and can be used as a matrixfor the production of organic compounds with selenium.Iron selenite in concentration of 30,00 mg/lcan be used to obtain spirulina biomass containingselenium biotransformed into organic form (79,8%)by its integrating into intracellular bioligands of spirulina,such as free amino acids, oligopeptides, etc.compounds with low and medium molecular weight(27,7%) and proteins (30,3%).
