摘要:Geographic Information Systems(GIS) proved to be at current stage a effi cient andtrustworthy research tool. These provide naturalphenomena and processes referencing to the realgeographic coordinates on the one hand, concomitantuse of a huge amount of data- temporal and spatialanalysed. In this scientifi c paper, for the fi rst time isperformed agro-climatic regionalization of the territoryof the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine within theDniester Basin, thus enlarging the possibilities ofusing this research tool abroad. The obtained resultsindicate that the territories of the Republic of Moldovaand Ukraine over the plateau and lowland areas aredelimited fi ve agro-climatic rayons. The knowledgeabout current agro-climatic resources will contributeto correct territorial location of crops grown within theDniester River Basin
