摘要:The lodging of pineapple plants causes a decrease in yield, loss of fruit quality and increased costs for the development of cultural practices such as tying up the plants on the borders of the plantations. Currently, many commercial rooting products are being used to mitigate this problem; however, the results have not been completely successful in mitigating the problem. This research was conducted to develop and measure the effectiveness of new products for stimulating root system growth. The evaluation was conducted on pineapple plants grown in the greenhouse and the field, using four treatments. The application was carried out in the form of drench into the soil at 21 and 45 days after planting. The T1, containing secondary metabolites (Sinmax), humic acids (Eco-Hum), auxin (IBA) and cytokinins (benzyladenine), polyacrylamide as a gelling agent and 12-24-12 fertilizer, presented a significant difference (p≤0,05) in leaf dry weight. None of the treatments increased root biomass, however T2, containing seaweed (kelp), humic acid, citric acid and phosphoric acid acted as a stimulator of root elongation. The use of rooting stimulator T1 offers the potential to increase productivity and rooting stimulator T2 the potential to improve elongation of the root system of pineapple.
