摘要：The present essay offers a critical review of a recent book by Erika Juríková on the 17th-18th century Latin panegyrical production of the Trnava university press. While commenting on the formal flaws and methodological shortcomings of this publication, the author attempts to formulate his own views of some of the principal questions connected with research into the Latin panegyrical literature of Slovakia. Particular attention is paid to the matters of interpretation and to editorial principles.
