摘要：Este artículo tiene como objetivo evaluar la evolución del modelo de integración económica en América Latina, utilizando como estudio de caso al Mercado Común del Sur (Mercosur). Este proceso nace como una iniciativa centrada en el libre comercio, pero ha ido evolucionando para incluir política social y productiva. Este proceso es analizado en este artículo. En el trabajo, también se evalúa la forma como el ingreso de Venezuela como miembro pleno del Mercosur, y en particular el proceso del ALBA, pueden incidir en el proceso de rediseño del modelo económico de este bloque regional.
其他摘要：This paper aims at analyzing the evolution of the economic model in the Latin American regional integration schemes. Mercosur is our case of study. This process was born as free trade centered initiative, but it has been gradually transformed in order to include a social and a productive dimension. This process is analyzed in this paper. Similarly, we assess the extent to which the incorporation of Venezuela as a full member of Mercosur will influence on the process of redesigning of the economic model of this regional bloc. Special attention is given to the ALBA initiative and its influence in the process.
