摘要：El artículo tiene como objetivos: analizar los principales cambios en el comercio total y agroalimentario entre Venezuela y Colombia durante el período 1990-2011 y explicar y cuantificar los efectos sobre los flujos de comercio agroalimentario de continuar o no una zona de libre comercio entre Colombia y Venezuela. Se utilizó el modelo gravitacional ampliado según la metodología de Rose y Chuecos. Los resultados muestran que: el comportamiento del comercio total y agroalimentario a partir de 1999 muestra un comportamiento irregular, por las limitaciones derivadas de un conjunto de medidas administrativas aplicadas por el gobierno venezolano; el deterioro recurrente de las relaciones diplomáticas y el comportamiento del crecimiento económico y la tasa de cambio y un acuerdo de libre comercio incrementaría el intercambio bilateral en un 34% adicional, en contraposición a lo que representaría una salida definitiva de la CAN.
其他摘要：The article aims to: analyze the main changes in total and agri-food trade between Venezuela and Colombia during the period 1990-2011 and explain and quantify the effects on food trade flows continue or not a free trade area between Colombia and Venezuela. We used the extended gravity model using the methodology of Rose and Chuecos. The results show that: the behavior of total trade and food from 1999 shows an irregular behavior by the limitations of a set of administrative measures implemented by the Venezuelan government, the recurrent deterioration of diplomatic relations and behavior economic growth and the exchange rate and an FTA would increase bilateral trade by 34% more, as opposed to what would represent a definitive solution of CAN
