摘要：Content-based image retrieval is a very important area of research nowadays. Content Based mage Retrieval (CBIR) is a technique which uses visual features of image such as color, shape, texture, etc. CBIR technologies provide a method to find images in large databases by using unique descriptors from a trained image. A lots of research works had been completed in the past decade to design efficient image retrieval techniques from the image or multimedia databases. Large number of retrieval techniques has been introduced, but there is no universally accepted feature extraction and retrieval technique available.
