摘要：Forensic medicine has an important role in establishing the truth regarding the offence of striking and other violence, the forensic examination being the principal exhibit in a legal process. The obligation of examining the victim's body in order to identify possible traumatic lesions is settled in Art. 14 paragraph 1 of the Romanian Criminal Proceeding Code.
