摘要：Secondary family and consumer sciences (FCS) teachers were surveyed toobtain demographic information, employment plans, and job satisfaction relatedto their teaching positions. Results indicated that typical respondents weremiddle-aged educators who taught FCS specialty courses on the block schedule.The majority of respondents were extremely satisfied with their teachingpositions, as well as the perceived effectiveness of their FCS programs. Manywere planning to retire within the next ten years
