摘要:An organization’s capability to set up and properly manage business operations is seen as a key factor inpromoting flexibility and agility, which directly impacts organizational performance. Such a capacitypasses directly through business process management (BPM). In the quest for technological support forbusiness processes, enterprise resource planning (ERP) has become one of the most commonly used tools topromote interdepartmental integration, create unified information flows, reduce redundancy, and increaseconnections between the different areas involved in business organizations. Therefore, this study aimed to applyBPM methodology on an industrial organization’s processes in order to automate them through an ERPsystem. After the BPM stages were applied, many process bottlenecks were identified and treated, thusimproving the developed activities and providing the company with more organized and concise information toassist in the development of business goals.
