摘要:This article had as it main objective to quantify the e-government academic production, while identifying the main vehicles of scientific output, most cited authors, papers, countries and institutions, while also verifying the co-citation between the articles. Citation data was collected from ISI WEB of Science Website from Thompson’s Scientific Data from Institute for Scientific Information [ISI], considered the most recognized indicator of scientific impact. Data was imported and analyzed in a bibliometric study using the software HistCite. In total, 4225 records were found (1181 articles, 415 Article/Proceedings, 2649 Conference Proceedings). The findings indicated that the academic production and citations grew in the last years. Data indicates that the ten countries with more cited articles have 8318 citations, or 79.50% of the total, showing a great concentration. Findings, implications and suggestion for future research are presented
