摘要：Orthogonal Frequency DivisionMultiplexing (OFDM) has become the popularmodulation technique in high speed wirelesscommunications. It is more advantageous overother technologies.But despite its advantages ithas some obstacles also. The high peak-toaverageratio is the main obstacle which causesnon-linearity at the receiving end. In this paperwe discuss about the PAPR in the OFDM system,its effect and name some techniques which canbe used to reduce the PAPR according to therequirement.
