摘要:Today in communicationinfrastructure internet takes major role, after thenetwork problems the slow convergence of routingprotocols becomes a increasing problem. Here theproposed scheme guarantees recovery in all singlefailure scenarios, using the single mechanism tohandle both link and node failures. MRC is verystraight forward and assumes only the destinationbased hop-by-hop forwarding. It will have all theinformation of the routers and packet forwarding alsotakes place. And also show estimate of the trafficdemands. MRC is strictly connectionless, andassumes only destination based hop-by-hopforwarding. It can be implemented with only minorchanges to existing solutions.MRC is based on keeping additional routinginformation in the routers, and allows packetforwarding to continue on an alternative output linkimmediately after the detection of a failure. It can beimplemented with only minor changes to existingsolutions. In this paper we present MRC, and analyzeits performance with respect to scalability, backuppath lengths, and load distribution after a failure. Wealso show how an estimate of the traffic demands inthe network can be used to improve the distributionof the recovered traffic, and thus reduce the chancesof congestion when MRC is used.
