摘要：The project entitled Effective key Generation forMultimedia Application is the application developed toembed an video file in another video signal. It isconcerned with embedding information in an innocuouscover Speech in a secure and robust manner. Thissystem makes the Files more secure by using theconcepts Steganography and Cryptography,Steganography, poor cousin of Cryptography is the artof hiding messages inside other messages such that thevery existence of the message is unknown to third party.The goal of cryptography is to make data unreadable bya third party, the goal of Steganography is to hide thedata from a third party Through the use of advancedcomputer software, authors of images and software canplace a hidden trademark in their product, allowingthem to keep a check on piracy. This is commonlyknown as watermarking. Hiding serial numbers or a setof characters that distinguishes an object from a similarobject is known as finger printing. Together, these twoare intended to fight piracy. The latter is used to detectcopyright violators and the former is used to prosecutethem. But these are only examples of the much widerfield of Steganography. The cover data should not besignificantly degraded by the embedded data, and theembedded data should be as imperceptible as possible.The embedded data should be as immune as possible tomodifications from intelligent attacks or anticipatedmanipulations. Thus it is necessary that the hiddenmessage should be encrypted.
