摘要:Implementation of security in MobileAdhoc Networks is a primary concern, sincemobile nodes launch attacks to disturb networkcommunication. Though Mobile Adhoc Networkshave greater attraction due to their mobility,dynamic topology and ease of deployment, theyare vulnerable to more threats. Certificatemanagement is one of the security solutions toprovide network security so that secure networkcommunication can be established and therebyremoving the certificate of nodes which arelaunching attacks on neighbourhood. To preventnodes from such attacks, various types ofcertificate revocation schemes have been proposed.One among the scheme is Cluster based certificaterevocation with vindication capability. In thisscheme, warned nodes are recovered to improvethe reliability of certificate revocation process.Threshold-based mechanism is also proposed inorder to enhance the accuracy and therebyassessing and vindicating the warned nodes aslegitimate nodes or not, before recovering thewarned nodes. Both numerical and simulationanalysis are done and their performances wereevaluated. The proposed certificate revocationscheme is effective and efficient in revoking thecertificates of malicious attacker nodes, therebyreducing the time taken to revocate the certificateof attacker mode, also improves the accuracy andreliability of certificate revocation process
