摘要：Wireless Ad hoc networks present more security problems thanthe conventional wired and wireless networks because of thenature of dynamically changing and a fully decentralizedtopology. As the Ad hoc network lacks infrastructure the nodeshave to cooperate for services like routing and data forwarding.This paper proposes a Autonomous Intrusion Detection Systemusing SVM. The feature set are constructed from MAC layerand Network layer to profile the normal behavior and maliciousbehavior of wireless node. The training data consist of bothnormal and abnormal behavioral patterns. Hence the proposedsystem identifies both anomaly and Misbehavior of nodes in thenetwork. Simulation is done under various network conditionsand malicious node behavior. The features identified areobtained by analyzing the data from the trace log.These featurevalues obtained are created by simulating wireless nodebehavior and used by SVM to detect intrusions
