摘要：Visual Cryptography facilitates hiding a secret image into nnumber of shares distributed to n number of participants. Thiskind of scheme is very useful as the participants in suchsecurity systems need not know the cryptographic knowledgein order to recover the secret image from the shares. Thisphenomenon is known as VCS (Visual CryptographyScheme). An extended VCS is the one which is capable ofgenerating meaningful shares when compared with the sharesof the VCS. This paper proposes construction of EVCS byembedding the random shares (result of VCS) into coveringimages. The empirical results revealed that the proposedEVCS is more secure and flexible than the EVCSs found inliterature.
