摘要：Data Mining is new approach for technical education. Technicalinstitute like engineering & other can use data mining techniquesfor analysis of different performances in student’s qualifications.In our work, we collected enrolled student’s data fromengineering institute that have different information about theirprevious and current academics records like students roll no.,name, date of birth, 10th, 12th, B.tech passing percentage & otherinformation and then apply decision tree method for classifyingstudents academics performance for Training & placementdepartment can be identify the final grade of student forplacement purpose. In future this study will be help to developnew approaches of data mining techniques in technical education
