摘要：Due to technological advances in sensor technologies, WirelessSensor Networks are widely used for location monitoring. Insuch systems monitoring personal locations is done throughInternet server. As the server is untrusted, it may cause threatspertaining to privacy of individuals being monitored. This isthe potential risk to be addressed. This paper presents twoalgorithms to address this problem. These algorithms achievetwo purposes. The first one is that they can improve quality ofmonitoring locations while the second one is for locationanonymization so as to preserving personal location privacy.The first algorithm is resource – aware which is aimed atreducing computational and communicational cost while thequality – aware algorithm is aimed at improving the quality ofmonitoring locations. Both are having a feature that preservespersonal location privacy. The system is evaluated withsimulation experiments using NS2. The empirical resultsrevealed that the proposed system can provide high qualitymonitoring besides preserving personal location privacy
