  • 摘要:Attacks in wireless sensor networks are Compromised-node anddenial-of-service (DOS). In the Compromised-node attack (CNattack); an adversary physically compromises a subset of nodesto eavesdrop information, whereas in the denial-of-serviceattack, the adversary interferes with the normal operation of thenetwork by actively disrupting, changing, or even paralyzing thefunctionality of a subset of nodes. These two attacks are similarin the sense that they both generate black holes areas withinwhich the adversary can either passively intercept or activelyblock information delivery. Due to the unattended nature ofWSNs, adversaries can easily produce such black holes. SevereCN and DOS attacks can disrupt normal data delivery betweensensor nodes and the sink, or even partition the topology. Ingeneral we study routing mechanisms that circumvent (bypass)black holes formed by these attacks. We argue that existingmulti-path routing approaches are vulnerable to such attacks,mainly due to their deterministic nature. So once an adversaryacquires the routing algorithm, it can compute the same routesknown to the source, and hence endanger all information sentover these routes. In our Proposal we develop mechanisms thatgenerate randomized multi-path routes. Under our design, theroutes taken by the "shares" of different packets change overtime. So even if the routing algorithm becomes known to theadversary, the adversary still cannot pinpoint the routestraversed by each packet
