摘要:This paper presents multi-modal biometric watermarkingtechniques for personal identification system based on DCT andPhase Congruency model. The proposal made here is animproved algorithm for embedding biometrics data (such asfingerprint image with demographic information of person) in theface image of the same individual for authentication andrecognition which can be employed in E-passport and Eidentificationcards. Phase congruency model is used to computeembedding locations having the low frequency on DCTcoefficients of face image and Normalization correlation basedon both human perceptivity and robust property is used forembedding watermark in these locations. This enhances Quality,Recognition accuracy and Robustness of both cover andwatermark image with minimum computational complexity.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed watermarktechnique is better robust or resilient against different type ofimage processing attacks
