摘要：The present era has witnessed tremendous growth of the internet and various applicationsthat are running over it. Cloud computing is the internet based technology, emphasizing its utility andfollows pay-as-you-go model, hence became so popular with high demanding features. Load balancingis one of the interesting and prominent research topics in cloud computing, which has gained a largeattention recently. Users are demanding more services with better results. Many algorithms andapproaches are proposed by various researchers throughout the world, with the aim of balancing theoverall workload among given nodes, while attaining the maximum throughput and minimum time. Inthis paper, various proposed algorithms addressing the issue of load balancing in Cloud Computingare analyzed and compared to provide a gist of the latest approaches in this research area.
