摘要：Passive Optical Networks are thought to be ONUUser 1the next step in the development of Access Networksand providing broadband access in the ”last mile”area. Ethernet PONs (EPON) gain the most attentionfrom the industry as they offer highly flexible, cost ONU User 2effective solution. In this paper we propose algorithmsthat provide Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation and shift theburden of queue management from the customer to the OLTnetwork, this results in less complicated and more genericequipment used on the customer’s premises. We showthe results of simulations to validate the effectiveness of ONU User Malgorithms presented.
