摘要：RESUMO: Na discussão plural a respeito da juventude, alguns consensos podem ser observados, como a existência de uma relação tensionada entre esse grupo social e a instituição escolar. No presente trabalho, serão discutidas as mudanças percebidas por um grupo de sujeitos, com idades entre 15 e 18 anos, em suas ações e em seus valores, a partir da sua participação em um programa de educação integral e(m) tempo integral - Programa Escola Integrada (PEI) - do munícipio de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Os dados apontam que a participação nas atividades, na visão desses sujeitos, promoveram mudanças significativas em suas atitudes e valores, com desdobramentos em aspectos diversos de suas vidas, como a socialização, o mundo do trabalho e suas vivências escolares.
其他摘要：ABSTRACT: In the plural discussion concerning youth, some consensus can be found such as the existence of a tensioned relationship between this social group and school. In this paper, we discuss the changes perceived by a group of subjects between 15 and 18 years old in their actions and values from their involvement in a Program of Integral Education - Integrated School Program (PEI) - in the municipality of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais - Brazil. From the viewpoint of these subjects, the data indicate that participating in these activities promotes significant changes in their attitudes and values, with repercussions in many aspects of their lives, such as socialization, the world of work and their school experiences.
