摘要：Resumo O presente trabalho faz um balanço dos artigos publicados em periódicos científicos arbitrados e vinculados ao Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciElo), no período de 2009 a 2014, em âmbito nacional. A partir de um levantamento quantitativo dessas produções, propõe-se a discussão das principais tendências no campo, interpretadas no relevo dos resumos desse corpus constituído, com base em leitura flutuante e na criação de seis categorias: 1) áreas temáticas, 2)referenciais teóricos acerca da surdez, 3) temas afeitos aos estudos surdos na perspectiva bilíngue/antropológica, 4) temas afeitos aos estudos surdos na concepção clínico-terapêutica, 5) novos temas afeitos aos estudos surdos e 6) produção por ano, instituições (públicas/privadas/localização geográfica).
其他摘要：Abstract This article presents the results of a literature review on Deafness and Deaf Education. Based on the articles published between 2009 and 2014 present in the SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) database, the analysis shows that the production on these subjects has increased steadily in the period, and that most of the articles were produced in the field of education, followed by Linguistic/Applied Linguistics, Health, Phonoaudiology, and Psychology. The study also identified a tendency to treat deafness as a linguistic specificity in an anthropological perspective. The majority of the articles discuss reading and writing whether as part of teaching and learning processes or as practices. Other frequent themes are bilingual education, deaf culture and identity, digital technologies, teaching practices in different subjects, translation and interpretation. Finally, the review shows a lack of studies on the deaf person in other contexts outside the classroom and the importance of research, teaching and extension initiatives carried in public universities for the strengthening of the field.
