摘要：Security and privacy has become an important issue in the world of digital multimedia services andapplications. Encryption seems to be the most efficient way for achieving multimedia data security. The encryptionalgorithms developed to secure text data are not suitable for video content due to particular requirements and specialproperties of video data. This paper, presents a classification scheme and description of various video encryptionmethodologies proposed so far along with their performance evaluation.
