  • 摘要:P arents, media, and peers inundate high school students with concerns about health and weight. Schools also make considerable efforts to offer healthier alternatives for lunch and advocate prevention methods, and parents enrol their kids in after school activities for the purpose of physical exercise; yet, despite these attempts, obesity rates among adolescents in America have more than tripled since the 1980s and 32% of children and teens are considered overweight or obese (Ogden et al., 2012). Countries around the world face similar dilemmas and have approached the growing problem in a variety of ways. In 2011, Denmark introduced the first 'fat tax,' a levy imposed on excessively fattening foods.
