摘要:Quasi-static compression tests were performed on empty and foam filled Aluminium square tubes. Two different foam types: Extended Polystyrene (XPS) and Extended Polyethylene (XPE) were used to fill the empty tubes. In this paper experimental and numerical simulations were performed to investigate the effect of foam filling on crashworthiness parameters.
