摘要:The purpose of this study is to contribute to the performance literature by testing a model that combines performance, job stress and emotional intelligence. Data were collected from 232 employees from small-medium enterprises. Our findings showed that, as hypothesized, job stress and emotional intelligence meaningfully correlated with performance. Besides, emotional intelligence had a mediating effect in the relationship between job stress and performance.
