摘要:On a sample of 749 subjects, aged 11 to 14 years, divided into two sub-samples 349 male respondents and 391 female respondents. was conducted basic research to determine whether there are differences in motives for physical and sports activity among high school students of both sexes and between students who do not practice or do practice organized sports. To realize the goals of research the first and second sub-sample is divided into two distinctive groups depending on whether students are engaged in organized sport or not engaged in organized sports. The motivation for the physical activity is estimated with scale Behavior Regulation Exercise Questionnaire (BREQ). Differences between students who are not engaged in and who practice organized sports are determined by multivariate and univariate analysis of variance (MANOVA and ANOVA).Girls of high school age who are included in organized sports practicing show higher values ??in most of the variables that estimated the degree of autonomous motivation towards physical-sport activity. The largest differences are defined in the intrinsic motivation, autonomous index of self-regulation strength of motivation to physical activity. Many of the boys are motivated to be engaged in organized sports activity by an identification regulator –identified regulation and by a guilt regulator - introjected regulation.
