其他摘要：The Mehelyi's root vole (Microtus oeconomus mehelyi ¨¦hik, 1928) is one of the rarest rodents in Central Europe. It s distr ibution range is rest ricted to specific part s of Slova kia, Hungar y and Austria . In Slovakia, the Mehelyi's root vole occurs in sout h¨Cwest reg ions, especially in Podunajsk¨¢ rovina low- land. In t he present study we i nvest igated the recent occurrence of root voles in s uit able habit ats of Podunajsk¨¢ rovina lowland in 2010. Small mammals were caug ht by traps set in lines wit h 5¨C15 m dist ance bet ween capt ure ¨Cpoints. To- t ally 31 localities were vi sited. The presence of root voles was recorded on 11 localities where 54 individuals were caught. The first occur rence of this spe- cies was documented on five loca lities .
