The paper deals with the results of faunistic research of harvestmen (Opiliones) undertaken on 12 localities in environments of the town Bardejov (North-East Slovakia) in August and September 2011. In total, the occurrence of 12 species from 3 families (Nemastomatidae, Trogulidae, and Phalangiidae) was recorded. The examined material consisting from 73 individuals was obtained by the individual collecting during several one-day excursions (from vegetation and rocky slopes, or under stones, pieces of decaying wood and loose bark of old trees etc.). The list of species and numbers of harvestmen are given too. Regarding the ecological requirements, most of species can be classified as mountain or euryvalent species, usually characterized also as hygrophilous and sylvicoles.
