其他摘要：The paper deals with the results of faunistic research on millipedes (Diplopoda) undertaken in 6 peatlands in Horná Orava region, in 2001. In total, 5 species of millipedes from 4 families were recorded: Glomeris tetrasticha, Polyzonium germanicum, Leptoiulus trilobatus, Polydesmus complanatus and Polydesmus denticulatus. Millipede communities of the investigated peatlands were dominanted by Glomeris tetrasticha and Leptoiulus trilobatus, the second species was the most frequent in 4 investigated peatlands.
